Claude Haiku 5.5 replaces Haiku 4.5 as a fast, cost-effective Claude model. According to the model update, it is smarter than its predecessor and around ten times cheaper per token. It has a context window of 1 million tokens and supports image input, reasoning, and tools such as web search.
Mistral Large 4 replaces Large 3 as the flagship model in European AI. The model thinks before it answers; its reasoning steps appear in the Model is thinking panel. In the desktop chat, you can choose between Low and High reasoning for Mistral. This lets you tailor the setting to, for example, a quick customer question or a complex process document.
If you had selected Haiku 4.5 or Large 3 as your model, that saved selection will automatically carry over to its successor. You don’t need to change anything.
Large 4 is also used via the document server when creating documents with European AI.
You can use the new models right away in your day-to-day work, from quick answers to drafting documents.
