Administrators can now connect a SharePoint folder to the AI-Corporate knowledge base. Documents in that folder and its subfolders are processed. This allows teams, for example, to make work instructions and process documents available from a single central source.

To connect a folder, go to Management → Knowledge base → Add → SharePoint folders → Connect folder. Enter a title and the folder URL, choose the scope and target audience, and set the publication status to Published. Before doing so, the organization’s own Microsoft app must have Sites.Selected and admin consent. It also needs separate read access to the relevant SharePoint site.

AI-Corporate automatically checks the folder every 15 minutes and then processes the documents. New files are added, changes are updated, and deleted files are removed from the active knowledge base. An administrator can start a check immediately by selecting Sync now; Refresh only displays the current processing status.

Published documents are available according to the existing knowledge base permissions. Employees do not need to enable a personal SharePoint connector. An administrator can remove the source via SharePoint folders → Disconnect. New imports then stop, and the connected documents are immediately hidden from the knowledge base. The original files remain in SharePoint; stored private copies remain in the AI environment.

Before connecting a folder, check Microsoft access and choose the scope and target audience that are appropriate for the documents.
